I Heart Hearts Friend Card

Hello everyone!  I hope your weekend has started out with a little fun and a little relaxation.

I created this card using the I Heart Hearts stamp set from Stampin Up.  Right now, when you purchase this set, Stampin Up is donating part of the proceeds to the Haiti earthquake relief effort.  It's a great set, and you get to feel good about buying it too!  To order Stampin Up products, click the link at the top of my blog.  It will take you to my Stampin Up website.

I wanted to create a card that could be a Valentine's Day card...or could be used at other times just to say hi to a friend.  I used three colors of pink for this card, and I love the way it turned out.  The card stock used is Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, and Pretty in Pink.  I also used Melon Mambo ink, Regal Rose ink and Whisper White craft ink.

I hope your weekend is full of relaxation and maybe some crafting too!  Enjoy your day!

  1. I love this card, it is really cute and very creative. I like the colors.

  2. Hi, Carissa!

After watching your video on unmounting stamps, I went ahead and ordered the craft knife and cling-mount sheets. While waiting for them to ship I took inventory of my wood-mount stamps. I have 178 sets. *Pauses for effect*. My weekend is being spent deciding which ones must be sold and which ones I like enough to convert to cling-mount. Not so much relaxing!

Today's card is lovely. I like how the sweetness of the colors is balanced by the no-frills spiral punch. I love the taffeta ribbon, too. All my projects have either that or the satin. Awesome products.
