Wishing You Lots of Love Christmas Card Featuring My Pink Stamper Stamps

Hello everyone!  Are you ready for tons of inspiration to kick off your Christmas card making season?  Today on My Pink Stamper you can see a Christmas card from every one of the My Pink Stamper Design Team members (and there are a lot of us)!  Be sure to head over to My Pink Stamper's site to check out the projects from all of the designers.

My project features the Biggie Christmas Sentiments stamp set from My Pink Stamper.  There are a fabulous variety of messages included in this stamp set for your Christmas and Holiday card making needs.  But I fell in love with the sentiment "Wishing you lots of love this Christmas."

My card measures 3.5 x 7 inches.  I wanted to do a card that was a little different in shape...and I know a lot of you like to see something a little different every now and then.   I remember seeing this idea for a "banner" going down the length of the card (I wish I remember who inspired it), and I thought I would try it myself.

I have a video below walking you through the entire process of this card.  I'll show you how to "stretch" your 6x6 paper all the way down the front of a 7 inch card.  Here are the fast details for those who want the information without watching the video.
My Pink Stamper Biggie Christmas Sentiments
Christmas Cheer Cartridge
    Banner cut at 1.25
    Lights cut at 1.5
Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge
Circle cut at 3.0 and 3.25 (real dial size)
The rest of the supplies can be found below.

Hope you all have a fabulous day.  Don't forget to check out all the posts from the Pink Designers at My Pink Stamper's site.

Carissa, I love digital papers, too, because they are so wonderful to be able to use as much as I need. Since I'm room mom this year and food is no longer allowed at class parties, I'm gonna need something cool for the kids so printable halloween paper will help!

Congratulations!  I don't have your email address.  Please send me a message/comment from your google ID to claim your prize!

Checking In

Hi everyone.  I hope you are having a fantastic week.

I wanted to check in and let you know that I won't have a post this week, I am dealing with a family emergency this week and just won't have the time or energy to create!

But check back next Tuesday!  There will be plenty of inspiration.

Have a great week!

Yummy-licious Treat Bag-Pink-alicious Blog Hop October & A Giveaway!

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a fabulous time hopping along for My Pink Stamper's Pink-alicious blog hop for October.  If you started here, make sure you head to My Pink Stamper's site to start from the beginning.  I would hate for you to miss any of the fabulous projects along the way.  When you've visited all of the blogs, you can head back to My Pink Stamper's site to play along in the challenge.

Our challenge this month was to create a treat or goody bag and incorporate some of My Pink Stamper's fabulous stamps.   I chose to make a Halloween goody bag since it is right around the corner.  I have a video below showing the entire process.  I used the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More cartridge to cut the treat bag at 5.5 inches.  I also used the Doodlecharms cartridge to cut my simple pumpkin at 2.25 inches. I finished off the whole thing by adding an adorable sentiment from My Pink Stamper's Yummy-licious stamp set and a little bit of glitter.  The whole project is very simple, but the little touches really make it special.

From here, you're heading over to  Julie at Ready Set Stamp for some more inspiration.  I have posted the entire blog hop order at the end of this post (keep scrolling).

And now for the GIVEAWAY!  I am giving away a PINK ATG gun in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.  To enter to win, simply leave a comment on this post and tell me your favorite thing about my blog.  I will use Random.org to choose a winner on Saturday, October 22nd.  Good luck to you!

Trick Or Treat Pencil Treat-Witch's Brew Lifestyle Crafts & A Giveaway

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a fabulous week.  My life has been so incredibly busy...I didn't even get around to making a video last week.  But when I saw this FABULOUS kit by Lifestyle Crafts, I just knew I had to create something to share with you all.

So let me give you a run-down on the benefits of digital kits.

*Low cost!   The Witch's Brew kit is just $4.99---and you can get 20% off your entire purchase by entering the coupon code GLITTER at checkout.

*Never run out of the paper you're using!  You know you've done it at midnight!  As long as your printer has ink, you'll have the right paper for your projects.

*You choose the paper you print it on.  Okay, I know some of you are thinking, "why is this a big deal?"  Well, if you're like me, you like a nice, heavy weight and smooth texture for the paper you use.  But others like a light weight paper (or the project calls for a lighter weight paper).  So....you choose what paper suits your likes and needs best and you're never disappointed with the quality.  You can even try vellum!  I bet that would give this Halloween paper a very cool and spooky look!

*Use it for digital projects or traditional paper crafting projects!

*Perfectly coordinated papers, colors, elements and patterns.   Makes creating a project a breeze!

*HAVE IT NOW!   If you're anything like me, you see something and you want it NOW!  Just click, buy and download and start creating NOW!  Or, if you have a case of last-miniute-itis, you can download it the day before Halloween and start your projects then!

*TRY IT FOR FREE! Not sure if digital items are something you will enjoy using?  Download this Treat Box for FREE and try it out!

For my project today, I used the Place Setting Kit Dies to create an adorable treat for Halloween that won't rot your kids' teeth.  It's perfect for kids, teachers, classroom gifts...and is a nice change of pace from the traditional junk food (yummy!!!).  This project came together so quickly!  The papers speak for themselves, so very little embellishment is needed.

And just for kicks, why don't we do a giveaway?!?  For your chance to win the Witch's Brew Digital Kit from Lifestyle Crafts, leave a comment on this blog post and tell me what you'd make out of this paper.  Don't forget to leave a way for me to get in touch with you if you win.  I will choose a winner on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 using Random.org.

I have a video below walking you through the creation of this project!  Enjoy and have a fabulous day!
