Congrats on hitting the 1k mark! That's awesome!
I like all the versions of the card, but I definitely love bling, so I'm going to have to go with the Carissa-ized version!

If The Broom Fits-My Pink Stamper Design Team Post, September

Hi everyone!  Are you ready for some fabulous inspiration?  Today, all the My Pink Stamper Design Team members have posted projects on their blogs for your viewing pleasure.

When we were given our “assignment” for the month, we were told to create a project using the new My Pink Stamper Spook-alicious stamp set and include orange, green, purple and black.

I knew right away that I wanted to use the “If the broom fits….ride it” sentiment.  But I don’t really own any Halloween cartridges.  Luckily, I found a broom, witches hat and spider web on my Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge.  Whew!  I really wanted to use the new Chic and Scary Cricut cartridge, but couldn’t seem to find a place that actually had it in stock.

On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment.  I don’t usually do anything to the inside of my cards (that’s where I write) but the Happy Halloween sentiment was the perfect size.  I added the little spider to the block and stamped both images at the same time.

I also heard from a lot of you that you wanted to see some card with unique folds (I love to hear your suggestions).  I thought I would make a z-fold card for this project.  It’s easy and fun!  I have a video below that you can watch for all the instructions.  Check it out!

And when you’re done viewing you can go back over to My Pink Stamper's site to see all of the other projects from the other designers.

Have a wonderful day!

Letterpress 1 Card 4 Ways---1,000 YouTube Subscribers & A Letterpress Giveaway

Hi everyone!  I hope your week is treating you well.  I have spent the last couple of days catching up at home.  I begin working the night shift tonight….so I need all my ducks in a row before my schedule gets turned upside down!

As you may have seen recently, I hit 1,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel!  I am so excited.  So in honor of reaching 1,000 subscribers, I filmed a video and Lifestyle Crafts has generously sponsored a giveaway!  Keep reading to find out how you can enter to win!

For today’s project, I pulled out my Letterpress.  I love my Letterpress tool!  I wanted to show you how you can take the same card…and dress it four different ways.  The four versions are plain (just letter-pressed….completely fabulous on its own), girly, manly, and Carissa-ized (aka rhinestoned out)!  I like to do a bunch of Letterpress pieces all at once and have them on hand.  This is the perfect example of how you can pre-press your cards and then dress them later for the recipient.

If you are unfamiliar with how to use the Letterpress tool, you can see a how to video that I created a couple of months back by clicking HERE.  You can use the Letterpress tool in your Epic 6, Sizzix Big Kick, and Sizzix Vagabond.  (These are the machines I have personally tried it in).   The results are absolutely stunning!

Now it’s time for a giveaway!  Lifestyle Crafts has given me a Letterpress Combo Kit and a set of dies (your choice) to give away!  Simply leave a comment on this blog post and tell me which version of the card you like best (and a way for me to reach you if you win).  The four versions are plain (just letter-pressed….completely fabulous on its own), girly, manly, and Carissa-ized (aka rhinestoned out)!  I will choose a winner on September 20th, 2011, using Random.org.  One entry per person please.

Thank you to all of my subscribers and all of my blog followers!  You are all FABULOUS!

Have a wonderful day!
