Don't Sweat The Small Stuff Journal-My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious Blog Hop & A Giveaway

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a wonderful time hopping along the trail for the My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious Blog Hop for January.  You should be coming to be from Sharon's site.  If you are just visiting my page, make sure you go to My Pink Stamper's site to start from the very beginning.  You wouldn't want to miss any of the inspiration that all of the My Pink Stamper Designers have up their sleeves.

Our challenge this month was to create a project, either for ourselves or someone else, that would help us welcome the fresh start of the New Year.  I decided to create a gratitude journal.  This had been one of my goals for the new year anyway, so I thought this was the perfect time to personalize a little journal that I could use for this purpose.

I used My Pink Stamper's Fabulous Phrases stamp set for my sentiment piece.  This set TRULY is FABULOUS!  I love the long, thin sentiments...they're perfect for banner shapes (which I happen to LOVE).  This saying is perfect for my gratitude journal.  It reminds me to remember all of the wonderful things and not concentrate on the things that don't matter.

The cuts on this project are from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  I mention all of the measurements in the video below, so check that out for complete instructions.  To finish off my little hearts, I "frosted" them with some Stardust Stickles.  Perfect touch of sparkle for this project.

Now for a giveaway!  I am giving away My Pink Stamper's Everyday Life stamp set.  Just leave a comment on this post and tell me something that you're grateful for.  I will choose a winner using Random.org on Thursday, January 19, 2012.  Be sure that you leave a way for me to get in touch with you if you win.

From here, you're going to Roberta's site for some more inspiration!  I have posted the complete blog hop order below for your convenience.

  5. Great idea to make a gratitude journal. I am grateful for my family. Came close to losing one of my kids in a car accident last year, but she made a full recovery. So thankful for a retired fireman named Craig who stopped to help and probably saved her life!

  37. Your journal is adorable, I love your video too. I think the journal is perfect for reminders of what you are grateful for. I am very grateful for my health and my family. Last year I had a very difficult year health wise personally and then an expected death of a family member who was very ill. This year, I have a foot injury with a boot on my foot, but I'm looking at the positive and grateful that this too shall pass. I am looking forward to a great 2012.

Thanks for the opportunity to win some My Pink Stamper stamps, unfortunately I don't own any yet so this would be awesome to win!
