Make A Wish- February My Pink Stamper Design Team Post

It's that time again! It's the time when all of the fabulous design team members over at My Pink Stamper make projects for your creative pleasure. I must admit, this month's challenge was quite a challenge for me.

Our challenge was to make a project and incorporate as many My Pink Stamper stamps as possible. I was pressed for time to get this project done, so I took a previous project that I made for Christmas, and reinvented it---birthday style. The tag on this project pulls out to reveal a gift card. {I gave one to my 15 year old nephew for Christmas and he asked "Did you make that? It's so cool." A rather flattering comment from a 15 year old boy!}. You can see my Christmas version here {there's a how to video on the Christmas version}.

I told you before that this was quite a challenge for me. I didn't want to throw stamps on just for the sake of saying I incorporated the most stamps in my project, but I wanted each stamp to be well placed and a purposeful part of the project. So, I managed to incorporate 3 stamps. {The stamps are from the Everyday Sayings and Family and Friends stamp sets.}

I did however challenge myself with the color scheme as well. I used red, teal blue and yellow to create a card that's perfect for a little boy {or girl}. I used the Everyday Pop-Up Cards Cricut cartridge to cut the present and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge to cut the tag. Hope you have a wonderful day!

Don't forget to head over to My Pink Stamper to check out all of the design team projects! You're sure to be inspired!
