Clean And Simple Spring Card

Hi everyone!  I hope you are enjoying the first days of spring.  Isn't it wonderful?  It's still been a little chilly here...and rainy.  But when the sun does shine, it's simply glorious.

So to celebrate this glorious spring weather {or the anticipation of it} the Design Team over at My Pink Stamper has put together some fabulous spring projects for your viewing {and inspiration}.  Once you've checked out my project here, don't forget to head over to My Pink Stamper to check out everyone else's projects.

For this month's My Pink Stamper Design Team assignment, we were challenged to create a project that incorporated the colors blue, green and yellow, and a butterfly {and of course, a Cricut cut}.  I have to admit, challenge may have been an understatement for me with this project.  I am not sure what element tripped me up the most, but in the end, I was pleased with the pure and clean project I created.  This would make a FABULOUS Easter card.  Just change the sentiment and voila, done!

For the sentiment on this card, I used the My Pink Stamper Everyday Life stamp set.  In the video, I show you how I took this "rectangle" sentiment and made it a long and skinny "one-liner".

There is a video below walking you through the creation of this card.  I even show you how I created the gorgeous colored vellum I used to punch my butterflies from and color my branch.

I hope you have a wonderful day!  Thanks for stopping by!
