Clean And Simple Spring Card

Hi everyone!  I hope you are enjoying the first days of spring.  Isn't it wonderful?  It's still been a little chilly here...and rainy.  But when the sun does shine, it's simply glorious.

So to celebrate this glorious spring weather {or the anticipation of it} the Design Team over at My Pink Stamper has put together some fabulous spring projects for your viewing {and inspiration}.  Once you've checked out my project here, don't forget to head over to My Pink Stamper to check out everyone else's projects.

For this month's My Pink Stamper Design Team assignment, we were challenged to create a project that incorporated the colors blue, green and yellow, and a butterfly {and of course, a Cricut cut}.  I have to admit, challenge may have been an understatement for me with this project.  I am not sure what element tripped me up the most, but in the end, I was pleased with the pure and clean project I created.  This would make a FABULOUS Easter card.  Just change the sentiment and voila, done!

For the sentiment on this card, I used the My Pink Stamper Everyday Life stamp set.  In the video, I show you how I took this "rectangle" sentiment and made it a long and skinny "one-liner".

There is a video below walking you through the creation of this card.  I even show you how I created the gorgeous colored vellum I used to punch my butterflies from and color my branch.

I hope you have a wonderful day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Friend-tastic Winner

Hello everyone!  I hope you are having a wonderful week!  I've been very busy the last few days.  I am working on some projects here in my craft room, and dealing with lots of construction at my house!  The good news is that our project is ALMOST done.  And I can not wait for it to be done.

I have chosen a winner for the Friend-tastic stamp set from My Pink Stamper.  And the winner is....

Favorote thing about March is that the 17th was her birthday. Her name was Patrician.and growing up we always had, corn beef and cabbage. I loved how she made the left oversea for the following day. Happy birthday mom..

HELLO Banner Card

Well HELLO!  It's Monday, and I thought I would start the week with a fun and easy card for your inspiration.  This card combines the fabulous look of letterpress and my love {maybe obsession} with banners!

There is a complete list of products below...along with a video tutorial to walk you through the process of creating this card.  If you're not familiar with the Letterpress, you can see that in action here.

Lucky for you...most of the products used on this card are from Lifestyle Crafts, which means you can use the coupon code GLITTER to get 20% off of your entire purchase!  And as a bonus, I've even whipped up a Saint Patty's version of this card {with some snazzy glitter letters}, which you can see below!  I quickly became obsessed with the glitter letters {love all things that sparkle} and decided they would be perfect for a birthday card...so I made one of those too {see it below}.

I just love how versatile the Celebrate alphabet from Lifestyle Crafts is.  I seriously could dream up a million uses for this fun little alphabet.  It's the perfect size for scrapbook titles, card greetings and cake toppers {you have to check out this fabulous cake topper idea}.

Since my birthday is quickly approaching {March 23rd to be exact}...why don't you leave me a comment here and tell me what I should ask for this year.  Can you believe that I just don't know what I want this year?

I hope you have a fabulous week.  I am planning on it.

Good Luck-My Pink Stamper Blog Hop March 2012

Hello everyone!  Long time no see, huh?  I've been so busy...work, kids {my son is currently playing basketball AND baseball}, laundry {sometimes}, and construction at my house has kept me running around like a chicken with my head cut off!  But it's time for the My Pink Stamper Pinkalicious Blog hop...so I found some time to make a project sprinkled {more like COVERED} with glitter!!!  If you've come from Chelle (Paper Krate), then you're on the right track.  If you've just happened upon this post, make sure to go to My Pink Stamper's site to start from the beginning.

Our challenge for this month's blog hop was to THINK GREEN!  Saint Patty's is right around the corner after all....and what a fun time to think rainbows, pots of gold, leprechauns, and shamrocks.  I know it's not your traditional card giving holiday...but it IS another excuse for you to find some time to hit the craft table and give your Cricut a little love {and maybe some cuts that you wouldn't normally use}.

I used both my Cricut Imagine and my Cricut Expression for this project.  Loving the rainbows I'm seeing everywhere right now...I used that as my jumping off point.  There is a video below walking you through the entire creation of this card.

I also used the My Pink Stamper Itty Bitty-licious stamp set.  This set is full of fun little sentiments for your projects.

From here, your next stop will be Angela (Simple Creations).  Then keep hopping right along until you've arrived back at My Pink Stamper's site and play along with us in the challenge!  I've posted the entire blog hop order below for your convenience.

So how about a giveaway?  I have a My Pink Stamper Friend-Tastic stamp set to give away to one {LUCKY} person.  Just leave a comment here and tell me your favorite thing about March.  I'll choose a winner using Random.org on March 17th.
