Instagram Photo Card

If you're anything like me, you've been taking and posting a whole lot of Instagram photos lately.  And a lot of them are super cute.  It seems a shame not be able to share them.   You can find me on Instagram (carissawiley is my username).

I thought I would combine a couple of my favorite things, Instagram Photos and hand made cards.  I thought the You've Been Framed stamp set from Maya Road was the perfect stamp set for this kind of card.

I created this card knowing it would probably be a mail out card (as opposed to one I would hand directly to the recipient).  So I kept the card super flat.

I also kept the card design pretty simple to keep the focus on the adorable picture of my kids.

I've posted a video below showing you the complete creation of this card.  I've also posted links to all of the products used in this video below (including a link to the printer I mentioned in the video...which I LOVE by the way).

Hope you enjoy the video!  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a fabulous weekend!

Speech Bubble Thank You Card

Hi everyone!  I hope you are having a fabulous week and are ready for the weekend.  I think the weekend is my favorite part of the week (especially when I'm not working).

I've created a fun card featuring speech bubbles.  They're all over the paper craft world right now.  They are such a fun and versatile shape.  I thought I would combine several speech bubbles to create a thank you card.  I've included stamped and die cuts shapes on this card.

This card is a great card to reproduce.  I purposely chose not to use patterned paper and stuck with stamps and die cuts which can be created over and over again.  I also used a Happy Birthday sentiment from Papertrey Ink for a birthday version of this card.

I have posted the video below, showing the entire creation of this card.  As usual, I have posted links to all the products used in this video below.

I've used a couple of the hottest trends in paper crafting on this card, gold and speech bubbles.  I'd love to hear from you.  What's your favorite trend in paper crafting right now?

Happy Birthday Card - Layered Die Cuts

Hi everyone.  I am popping in quickly to share this fun birthday card with you.  Today is my youngest's 9th birthday!  So thankful for that little thing!  She brings so much joy to our lives!

In honor of her birthday, I created a fun card...using several layered die cuts.  Layering die cuts, labels and tags is very popular in scrapbooking.  I thought I would show you how to use this on a card.  It was a lot of fun using several of my favorite die cuts on the same card.

I also took the opportunity in this video to show you the new Genius platform from Lifestyle Crafts.  It's a fabulous new product that can be used in all of the leading die cut machines with your wafer thin dies.  And yes!  It will work with all of your wafer thin dies as well.

While I was at it, I thought I would show how easily this converts to a boy card as well.  I exchanged a couple of the shapes on the card and changed up some colors for the boy version.  I replaced rhinestones with enamel accents.  But I left a touch of glitter.  Who says you can't use glitter on a boy card?

I have a video below walking you through the entire creation of this card.  I've also included links to all the products used in these cards below.

Don't forget, when your shopping at Lifestyle Crafts, use the coupon code GLITTER at checkout to receive 20% off your entire order.

Tomorrow night, we'll be taking our little birthday girl, Elliot, out to her favorite restaurant.  Can't wait to celebrate my little Elliot girl!  What a blessing she is!

Anyone out there have any crafting plans for the weekend?   Any videos/products you would like to see me make?

Have a fabulous weekend!
