Smile Instagram Frame Card --- Letterpress How To

Summer is in full swing!  And I'm busier than ever!  Thank goodness my hubby has been home to help out.  The joys of being married to a teacher are innumerable.  With time so short, I need projects that are quick and easy, and can serve many a purpose!  Today's card does just that!

Today's card combines two of my favorite techniques in card making, letterpress and die cutting.  The dies that I'm using are actually designed for the Albums Made Easy system by We R Memory Keepers.   These dies, however, are the perfect size for card makers.

I adore the Instagram Frame dies.  I knew when I saw them that I could use them for all sorts of things. I used the frame around a bold letterpress sentiment today, but these frames would also be perfect for a card that includes a photo {I know I'm taking a lot of those this summer}.  Or use them in your pocket scrapbooking album….so many uses for these fun frames!  And we all know how much I adore Instagram.  {You can follow me at Instagram by clicking here.}

Letterpress is another technique that I love to use.  It's such a rich look.  And I love how pigmented the letterpress inks are.  It makes this brush script sentiment bold and beautiful.  And don't worry if you don't get it perfect the first time {no one's perfect}.  I'll show you how to touch up your letterpress boo boo's in the video below.

I've included a video walking you through the entire creation of this card.  And as always, I've included links to the products used in this project.  Simply click the picture to link directly to the product.  Don't forget, use the coupon code GLITTER at the We R Memory Keepers shopping site to save 20% off your entire order!
