Snowflake Thanks - Winter Thank You Card

Hi everyone!  The Christmas holiday is officially over.  I had a fabulous week...and I sincerely hope you did too!  Now it's time for me to write some handwritten thank you's for all of those great gifts that my family and I received.  But first I had to whip some up.

I decided to keep a winter feel for this card...but I wanted to add some color.  I've been using a lot of green and red and was ready for a change.  I used some patterned paper from my stash to add color to this card.  The blues, pinks, yellows and grays are generally spring colors...but also make great colors for winter.  It was a lot of fun to use these colors!

I used the EK Success Snowflake Punch to create my snowflakes for my card.  You could substitute a snowflake die.  The punch made making multiples very fast and easy!  And I love the way these snowflakes look when cut out of vellum.

Since I needed multiples, I used the same supplies, but changed up my card design just a tad.  This little change made creating more cards fun and fresh, instead of monotonous.  The second card design uses far less patterned paper and is quick and easy to mass produce!
For a little sparkle, I added the Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins.  I have fallen in love with these sequins.  They are just gorgeous!!!  And they were the perfect way to add some sparkle to the card without it being too overwhelming.

I've created a video walking you through the entire creation of these cards.  I've also linked the supplies used in these projects below.  Just click the product below to link directly to the product page.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope I've inspired you to dig out some supplies from your stash and create some thank you's for all of those fabulous gifts you received.

I'd love to hear what your favorite gift is!  Did you get any fun crafting goodies?

I wish you all the best for 2015 and I'm looking forward to continuing to share paper crafting projects with you!  Have a FABULOUS day and a FABULOUS New Year!
