Hello, I Just Love You

Hi everyone!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend!  My weekend was fabulous!  I was very spoiled for Mother's Day!  And I finally took some time to just relax.  I even took a nap.  Hardly ever do that!  Man do I feel good.

I have a quick project for you today.  I love the soft colors on this project.  It kind of reminds me of an ice cream shop or something.  The soft green and pinks, combined with the gold and cream...almost good enough to eat.

I'm mixing and matching stamps and dies from several companies.  Check out your stash.  I'm sure you can find ways to use things you already own...mix them up and create something totally new.  I had a great time doing this.

I was unable to find an online source for the patterned paper I used in this particular project.  I purchased it at my local Michaels.  I'm hoping that the patterned paper will show up in some online stores soon.  It's just too cute!  I love the color combos and the gold foil accents.  It's perfection.

I will walk you through the entire creation of this card in the video tutorial below.  Don't forget to check that out.  I've also linked the supplies used below.

  7. Hi Carissa, I have a question for you...I absolutely love your style. You usually add a strip or two of either glittered card stock or striped card stock to your front panels. Do you start out with a particular size of white card stock for each one or do you just start cutting off from a 4.75 x 5.5 card panel? Then how do you make sure that everything is lined up just perfectly so that you leave a quarter inch border or whatever your ultimate design is?
