You Had Me At G'Day - Featuring Essentials By Ellen United We Flourish G'Day Mate By Avery Elle

Hi everyone!  Thanks for stopping by today.  Today I'm sharing several projects with you featuring the brand new Essentials By Ellen United We Flourish Stamp Set, G'Day Mate.  This collaboration stamp set was designed by Avery Elle exclusively for Ellen Hutson and will be available for a limited time.

The United We Flourish campaign was kicked off during Ellen Hutson's anniversary last year.  It's all about everyone uniting together in this industry, crafters, designers, retailers, customers....because every person in this community is special and together we are better!  As a part of this campaign, there are exclusive limited edition stamp sets being released every month, designed by some of your favorite stamp companies.  This month features the adorable art of Avery Elle.

I'm sharing several cards featuring this stamp set today.  Truthfully, I sat down not knowing what I was going to create....and this is what I was left with.

These images are so cute, they need very little.  For the first card, I created a heart shaped window on my card base.  I die cut an extra heart out of pink card stock and stamped it with a Wonky Backdrop stamp to add some pattern to it.

This is a fun design because when you open the card, your sentiment and focal image stay with the card front, but the heart shape is there on the inside of the card.

For the second card, I kept it simple once again.  I die cut another pink heart and stamped it with the Wonky Backdrops stamp.  This time, I just layered up my die cut roo and heat embossed sentiment over the top.

These first two cards are quick and easy.  When I have adorable critter images like these, I generally like to keep the rest of the card pretty simple.

The next card just might be my favorite.  I used the Wonky Backdrops stamp set again to stamp some triangles down my card base.  I used a soft gray ink to tie in with my koala.

I adhered my koala on to the card using foam adhesive.  Then I layered up an embossed sentiment with some black and white striped paper.  A few pink hearts coated with a layer of Wink Of Stella completes this card.  Isn't he the cutest?  And there's a baby in the stamp set too!

For the next couple of cards, I used the Avery Elle Postage Stamp die set to die cut some tags.  I used a woodgrain card stock for the tags to give them some texture.  Plus, I thought it tied in with the outback theme really well.

I added a little bit of dimension, a pop of black with the sentiment and a tiny pink heart to finish off this card.

The final card involves a little more layering.  I combined elements from all of the previous cards on this card.  The aqua background is stamped with the dots stamp I used earlier.  I threw in a second layer on the tag to bring in a pop of yellow.

Like the cards before, I used a pink heart (a little bigger this time) and embossed sentiment and some black and white patterned paper.

I'm sharing the creation of these cards in the video tutorial below.  Be sure to check it out.  I've also linked all the supplies used in these cards in the supply list below.  Keep in mind, these adorable G'Day Mate stamps will only be available for a limited time, so get it while you can.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you enjoyed these projects.  Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous day!
