Ombre' Glitter Goodness - Essentials By Ellen United We Flourish Sending Sunshine By Honey Bee Stamps

Hey everyone!  I'm so glad you've come by today.  I have a whole lot of glittery goodness to share with you.  I've been dying to share these card projects featuring the new Essentials By Ellen United We Flourish Sending Sunshine stamp and die set.  This stamp and die combo set is available exclusively at EllenHutson.com for a limited time.

This post is part of a blog hop celebrating this fun new release from Honey Bee Stamps and Ellen Hutson.  Be sure to check out the information below about a giveaway.  You're next stop on the hop is my very talented and amazing friend Carly Minner.  Be sure to check it out!  You're going to adore her!

In addition to the awesome Sending Sunshine set, I'm also using some of Honey Bee stamp's newest products, which coordinate perfectly with the Sending Sunshine set.  I've linked those below, along with some other new products from Honey Bee that I thought you would like.  All of these coordinate beautifully and will leave you with endless options by mixing and matching!

I have a lot to share with you in today's video tutorial.  I knew from the moment I saw this stamp set that I wanted to use a Distress Oxide ombre stamping technique.  I chose three colors of Distress Oxide Ink to ink up my stamps.  I am using Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and Abandoned Coral to create a multi colored stamped image reminiscent of a beautiful California sunset.  It's easy to do.  I'll show you in the video tutorial below.

I used those same colors of ink to create a coordinating piece for my embossed sub sentiment.  These Distress Oxide inks are so easy to blend, even on regular card stock.  You have to give them a try if you haven't already.  I love the way this sentiment strip coordinates beautifully with the multi colored stamped sentiment below.

For a large focal point on both of my cards, I'm using some ombre glitter card stock that I created myself.  I used some Copic markers to scribble some color on to some plain white card stock.  I then coated this ombre gradient with my "secret weapon", Tonic's Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone.  This creates beautiful glitter card stock.  Cover card stock, patterned paper, or your whole body in it...you're sure to love the results.  Seriously.

Like I mentioned before, I'll walk you through the creation of both of these cards in the video tutorial.  Be sure to check it out.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed these projects and all the ombre glitter goodness.  Don't forget to go say hi to my friend Carly.  She's seriously the best.  You can thank me later. ;)

Until next time, I hope you have a fabulous sunshiny day!
