I'll be doing my stamping on vellum today...using regular ol' die ink. Well, I guess it's not regular ol'...I used the ombre ink pads from Hero arts to give my balloons an ombre effect. You can use any kind of dye ink to stamp on vellum. They key is to make sure you dry it really well before moving on to your next steps. You can allow them to air dry, but it will take quite some time. I used my heat tool to quickly zap them and make sure they were completely dry.

You can see this ombre effect better on the mint balloon in this photo.

I also used another stamp included in the stamp set to create the beautiful confetti look on the top and bottom of the balloons. It looks beautiful embossed in the Rich Pale Gold embossing powder from Wow!

The sentiment was created using some stamps from the stamp set and a die from the coordinating die set. I used the same embossing powder that I used on the balloons to emboss my banner and greetings. The happy die cut was actually created by snipping away a portion of the die cut that creates a balloon with the word happy in the center. It's another way to use your die in a different way and make your supplies more versatile.
