Creating Cards With Project Life Supplies

A couple years ago, I started Project Life, with some big plans.  I love the idea of Project Life.  It makes memory keeping manageable while keeping it creative.  And it's so flexible.  While I'm not currently keeping up with Project Life, I still have quite a few supplies, including some fabulous kits from Studio Calico, and I wanted to find a way to use them.

I used the Sugar Rush Project Life kit from Studio Calico to create two fast and easy cards.  This kit is currently sold out, but I wanted to show you that Project Life cards and supplies work beautifully on cards too!

I used the same formula for both cards.  This basic sketch can be used over and over again.

I started with a Bazzill Avalanche card base and a few strips of colored card stocks to create the backdrop for the Project Life cards I chose as my focal point.  The avalanche card stock has a slight texture, which is a beautiful way to add a little somethin' somethin' to a clean and simple card design.

Aside from the card base and card stock, the rest of the supplies and embellishments came directly from the Sugar Rush Project Life kit.

If you love this kit, you should check out this month's ProjectLife kit from Studio Calico, called Bluegrass Farm!

I have included a video below, walking you through the entire creation of this card.  I've also included a linked supply list below.  Just click on the photo to be taken directly to the supplies.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I hope I've inspired you to dig out some of your supplies (even if they're not meant for card making) and get creative!  I hope you have a fabulous day!
